Officers of the Greater Accra City Response Team (CRT) have been exhorted by the Interior Minister to work hard and be disciplined in their jobs.

At the passing out ceremony for the first batch of the Greater Accra City Response Team Course 1--2022, Mr. Ambrose Dery, who represented President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, made the announcement.

On Tuesday, April 26, 2022, 867 CRT trainees graduated from the Army Peace Operation Training School (APOTS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) in Burma Camp after four weeks of intensive training.

The Greater Accra City Response Team module is part of President Akufo-'Operation Addo's Clean Your Frontage' initiative, which began in October of last year.

The CRT cops received traffic training during the four-week session.  The CRT officers were educated in traffic management, voice process reporting, first aid, VIP security, crowd control, and sensitizing Ghanaians on proper sanitation practices, among other things, throughout the four-week course.

Ernestina Afriyie, Florence Jean, Caleb Mensah, and Ransford Lartey, respectively, were named Overall Best Student and Best Student in Bravo Company, Best Student in Challenge Company, and Best Student in Delta Company.

Mr. Dery challenged the CRT trainees to work within the law's constraints.

"Work within the constraints of the law at all times, and in the fulfillment of your mandate, you must regard the citizenry as partners and strive to maintain your relationship with them at all times," he urged the recruits.

He stressed the importance of Ghanaians getting their hands dirty.
