Due to the physical nature of football, it is difficult to make tackles without being rough or fouling the opponent, which may prompt the referee to book such a person. 

Despite this, there are many great players who rarely receive a referee booking, let alone a red card. 

The following are seven football stars who have never been shown a red card: 

Michel Platini is the first. 

Michel Platini is one of football's greatest players, having won the Ballon d'Or three times. The remarkable thing about Platini is that he never received a red card in his entire career.

Ryan Giggs is number two. 

Ryan Giggs is a highly regarded former Manchester United player. Giggs made 64 appearances for the Welsh national team and 963 for his club, for a total of 1027 appearances in which he did not receive a red card. 

Raul Gonzalez is number three. 

Raul Gonzalez, a Real Madrid legend, is on this list because despite making a total of 1044 appearances for both club and country, he was never red-carded during his career.

four. Gary Lineker 

The Leicester-born striker, who has 281 goals in 647 appearances, is another player who has never received a red card. 

Andrés Iniesta, No. 5 

Andrés Iniesta is a Barcelona legend who currently plays for Vissel Kobe in Japan. He has made 710+ club appearances and 131 for the Spanish national team. He has never received a red card in his career.

Philipp Lahm is number six. 

Philipp Lahm of Germany is the only defender on this list. He appeared in 765 games during his career (652 for club and 113 for national team). The former Bayern Munich player is well-liked because he is the only defender who has never received a red card. 

Benzema, Karim 

Karim Benzema, a Real Madrid striker, is another active player on this list. The striker, who played 148 times for Olympique Lyonnais before joining Real Madrid in 2009, has yet to be shown a red card. 

I believe these players should be recognized for accomplishing this feat.
