Carlo Ancelotti, manager of Real Madrid, has refused to comment on Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger, who is expected to join Los Blancos this summer.
Ancelotti was speaking after his team's pulsating 4-3 loss to Manchester City in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final at the Etihad Stadium.
Madrid trailed the Premier League leaders by two goals in the first two minutes and fell two goals behind on three occasions. However, they were able to leave Manchester with only a single goal deficit ahead of the second leg at the Bernabeu next week.
Real Madrid remained in the tie thanks to two Karim Benzema goals and a Vincius Jr. finish, despite City missing a slew of chances.
Ancelotti was questioned about Rudiger's status after the final whistle. This was in response to a BBC Sport report claiming that a deal had been reached between the 29-year-old defender and the La Liga leaders.
The Italian manager, who is attempting to become the first person to manage in five different Champions League finals, smirked before telling BEIN Sport, according to Fabrizio Romano:
"Are you Toni Rüdiger?" Who is Toni? Who is he? He remains a Chelsea player. "I'm powerless to intervene."
Antonio Rudiger is set to sign a free transfer with Real Madrid.
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel confirmed on Sunday that Antonio Rudiger will leave Stamford Bridge on a free transfer this summer when his contract expires.
According to The Metro, Tuchel stated:

Tuchel's first-choice center-back since the former PSG manager's arrival in West London has been Rudiger, who has made 47 appearances this season.
He was also an important member of the team that won the 2021 Champions League, as well as the UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup that followed.
