Ghana and Strasbourg defender Alexander Djiku has popped up on the transfer radar of Turkish giants Bestika.

Djiku is a target for many clubs in Europe after an impressive performance for Strasbourg and Ghana. Turkish giants Bestika aims to sign the super talented centre-back of Strasbourg and Ghana this summer.

According to media reports, scouts from Turkey watched the 27-year-old French born Ghanaian in Strasbourg 1-0 defeat against Lillie over the weekend. Reports to managers of Bestika have heightened their interest in the defender.

Aside Bestika, other European clubs including French ligue 1 side Rennes, Spanish La Liga side Real Betis and other German clubs.

Djiku's impressive coordination with Leceister City's Daniel Amartey for the Black Stars of Ghana secured qualification for the West African country at the expense of their arch-rivals in the sub region.

He has made 27 ligue 1 appearances this season with a goal. His contract with Strasbourg expires next year and any interested club will have to raise money for the completion of his transfer.

Valeren Ismael seeks to strengthen and revitalize the prospects of Bestika after a unimpressive campaign this season by seeking to sign Alexander Djiku to augment his squad for the 2022/2023 campaign.
