Title-chasing Liverpool will play two Premier League games in the final week of the campaign after their match against Southampton was rescheduled due to their participation in the FA Cup final.

Jurgen Klopp's men will travel to the south coast for their penultimate fixture of the league season on Tuesday, May 17th, three days after their date at Wembley with Chelsea. Quadruple-chasing Liverpool, who already have the League Cup in their trophy cabinet, are going head to head with reigning champions Manchester City for the title.

They are one point behind Pep Guardiola's City with five games remaining for both teams. City's trip to Wolves, which was postponed due to their FA Cup semi-final against Liverpool, has been scheduled for May 11th.

Guardiola's men face a tough trip to West Ham on May 15th and conclude their season a week later at home to Aston Villa, while Liverpool host Wolves on the final day. Liverpool and City could also meet in the final of the Champions League if both win their semi-final ties.

City are looking to retain their Premier League trophy but Liverpool are still in the mix.

Manchester City have an extra reason to hope Arsenal beat Liverpool on Wednesday after the Premier League released their latest TV fixtures this week.

City learned their fixtures against Wolves and Leeds have been selected for live TV coverage, as would be expected from one of the two title contenders, while the home clash with Brighton has been rescheduled after being postponed due to the Blues' FA Cup quarter-final involvement.

City now know when six of their last nine fixtures will take place - and crucially, they also know when Liverpool will play.

Manchester City and Liverpool lead the way in the Premier League with 7 matches left to play. This year's title race could go down to the wire with two of the best teams the league has seen battling it out.
