Kwesi Appiah, the former coach of Ghana's Black Stars, believes he has seen it all when it comes to coaching a top-level football team.
Kwesi Appiah, speaking on Untold Stories TV, questioned why he needs to return to active football after leading the Black Stars to the 2014 World Cup.
Being a coach and a football player, he claims, has taught him a lot, and he now wants to pass on his knowledge to the next generation.
"I've been a player and a coach; what do I need again to coach at the World Cup level?" the former Black Stars coach stated.
He added that he prefers his current job at Kenpong Academy since he is not under any pressure and is no longer subjected to verbal abuse from football fans.
"It's great to have an impact on knowledge, and I love it here at Kenpong Academy much more than up there."
"Because you do your best up there," he explained, "people who are coming to compete against you are also come to give their best."
Coach Kwesi Appiah was in charge of the Black Stars in the 2014 World Cup, where they were eliminated in the group stages for the first time in their history.
He returned to the scene for the 2019 African Cup of Nations, where the Black Stars were knocked out in the Quarterfinals.
