*THE CURRENT UNTRUTHFUL MCE, THE CASE OF HON. AMADU HAMZA, BAWKU MUNICIPALITY*
It saddened my heart to have listened to MCE for Bawku speak to Sanda of Citi FM on Live eye witness news at 5:30pm on 16/03/2022.
He displayed gross disrespect to the elders and gods of kusaug, the people who made him who he is today...
After listening to him close to 10minutes of the interview, I could deduce the following serious and ill informed comments he has made;
1. *Under reported the atrocities meted by the securities*
Amadu Hamza as the head of securities and a government representative on the land under reported the deaths recorded as a result of the military atrocities. He claimed it was only one death but intentionally refused to mention the death of a 9year oldboy who was murdered in cold blood not by gun but strangulation to death as in the case late *George Floyd* in the USA by the military.
This clearly shows the honourable man is out to cover the mess created by his orders to the securities. A leader who tries to cover his own vomitus is not worth leading.
2. Blatantly claimed he is unaware of any military brutalities
The honorable man was heard denying not having knowledge of military brutalities. On the same interview, he was heard saying that, he ordered the securities to temper justice with mercy! How on earth could a head of security say this to mamprusis military men on kusaug land?? What justice were you even ordering them to temper with mercy??
So the honourable man is not aware that military men were seen brutalizing women and children? *A woman delivered just some few days ago had her hand fractured by same military after resisting the take over of her newly delivered baby*. *A man who is on psychiatric treatment had both lower limbs fractured and beaten mislessly* *A young girl of age 15years had gun shot wounds on her jaw and arm from military brutalities* Is the honourable man not aware the military men were seen setting fire on Buabula residents houses? Or he is trying to credit his accomplice, the mamprusis for the atrocities done by the military?
3. *His accession that we have tribes paying allegiance to mamprusis*.
The double standards of this honourable man is now shameful....the same MCE said most of the conflict casualties are not related to the conflict and have no interest in the conflict and on the other side said, some of the minority tribes pay allegiance mamprusis. No wonder he is one of them. Any minority tribe who pays allegiance to mamprusis is an accomplice to the conflict and they are the more reason why the conflict is not ending anytime soon. Hon Amadu Hamza is a party to the conflict.
4. *His claims that, Bawku could be hot today and normal life tomorrow*.
That was an irresponsible comment from the honourable man... too irresponsible! How can uniform men walking into distant communities, brutalizing both women and children and such town would be described as normal?? This irresponsible statement is enough for him to honourably resign. No wonder he has ordered military and police officers to brutalize innocent civilian men and women at highways community market.
I no longer see him as a honourable man of the land but a planted mamprusis accomplice to carry out their planned brutalities on kusaug. The land and gods of kusaug is on him for that irresponsible comment.
