Hollywood is the world’s largest movie industry, it has been the model for most movie industries in different parts of the world.
Ghanaians have been worried for many years about breaking boundaries to win Grammy Awards, the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards and others.
However, there are some Ghanaian living in Europe and America who are making great things in the Hollywood industry.

1. Cynthia Addai-Robinson
Addai-Robinson was born on January 12, 1985, in London; her mother is from Ghana and her father was a U.S. citizen is. She is an English-born American actress.
She is known for her roles as Naevia in the Starz television series Spartacus and DC Comics character Amanda Waller in The CW TV series Arrow. Since November 2016, she played the role of Nadine Memphis on the USA Network series Shooter. She started her career in 2002 and she is still doing well in the movie industry.
2. Boris Frederic Cecil Tay-Natey Ofuatey-Kodjoe
Boris Kodjoe was on born March 8, 1973. He is better known as Boris Kodjoe. He is an Austrian-born American actor, producer, and former model best known for his roles as Kelby in the 2002 film Brown Sugar, the sports-courier agent Damon Carter on the Showtime drama series Soul Food, and a recurring character on FOX's The Last Man on Earth.
He co-stars on BET's Real Husbands of Hollywood and the Grey's Anatomy spin-off, Station 19 as Battalion Chief Robert Sullivan. Boris Kodjoe started his movie career in 1994.
3. Abraham Attah
Abraham Nii Attah was born on 2nd July 2001. He is a Ghanaian actor, living in the U.S. for his career and education. He hails from the Ga–Dangme ethnic group in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
He made his feature film debut in Beasts of No Nation (2015). For his leading role of child soldier Agu, Attah was awarded the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor at the 72nd Venice International Film Festival. He was made an Ambassador for the Free Education Policy in Ghana, after having supported the policy with a picture endorsement.
In 2017, Abraham appeared in the Marvel Studios film Spider-Man: Homecoming. He has joined the ensemble cast of Shane Carruth's third film, The Modern Ocean.
4. Idrissa Akina Elba
Idrissa Akuna Elba was born on 6 September 1972 in the London Borough of Hackney, to Winston, a Sierra Leonean man who worked at the Ford Dagenham plant, and Eve, a Ghanaian woman. Idrissa Elba is an English actor, writer, producer, rapper, singer, songwriter and DJ.
He is known for roles including Stringer Bell in the HBO series The Wire, DCI John Luther in the BBC One series Luther, and Nelson Mandela in the biographical film Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom (2013). He has been nominated four times for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Miniseries or Television Film, winning one, and was nominated five times for a Primetime Emmy Award.
5. Nana Kofi Siriboe
Nana-Kofi Siriboe was on born March 2, 1994, in Los Angeles, California to Koshie Mills and Kwame Siriboe. His parents are of Ghanaian descent.
He is the middle child and has two brothers, actors Kwame Boateng and Kwesi Boakye. Siriboe is an American actor and model. He is best known for his role on the television series Queen Sugar (2016) . He has also appeared in films such as The Longshots (2008) and Girls Trip (2017).
6. Joey Ansh
Joey Ansah was born 24th November 1982 in London borough of Hackney, London, England, of mixed ethnicity, the second son of celebrated Ghanaian fashion designer Kofi Ansah and his Devon-born wife Nicola. His sister is the visual artist Tanoa Sasraku-Ansah and his brother is musician Ryan Ansah. His uncle is film director Kwaw Ansah.
Joey Ansah is a British actor, director and martial artist best known for his roles in The Bourne Ultimatum (2007), Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist (2014) and The Old Guard (2020).
7. Peter Mensah
Peter Mensah was born on 27th August 1959 at Chiraa, Ghana, and comes from an academic family. He was born to parents from the Brong Ahafo Region, and moved to Hertfordshire, England, with his father, Peter Osei Mensah, an engineer, his mother, a writer, and two younger sisters at a young age.
Mensah began practicing martial arts at the age of six. Peter Mensah is a Ghanaian-British actor, best known for his roles in the films Tears of the Sun, Hidalgo, 300, and television series such as Starz' Spartacus: Blood and Sand, Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, and Spartacus: Vengeance.
