Chelsea and Manchester united clashed in a Premier League game yesterday at the old Trafford ( Thursday 28th April 2022 ) and it ended in a 1 - 1 draw.

Tuchel: "We were very dominant, found the spaces."
"We could have taken advantage. I felt we missed something in the last 16 yards of the field to finish it off earlier."
Tuchel on Havertz: "He needs to fight back for his shape and have that same feeling. I hope he shows a reaction. The guys up front are young so I won't start pointing fingers."
Thomas Tuchel on Chelsea performance:
"I'm very happy with the performance because it was a huge team effort and I thought we showed what it takes to win at a huge stadium."
"We played with a lot of quality but unfortunately we don't have what we deserve and we have to live with it. We were very dominant and found the spaces."
"I found us very dominant and I was happy with how we played and had moments of acceleration. It felt like a little bit was missing in the last 16 yards of the field to finish off earlier and be more decisive earlier.
Thomas Tuchel:
"When we scored, I hoped we'd continue with the same concentration and focus. I think there is a statistic that says when you score, you will either have a big chance or conceded."
"It can happen. It's a piece of quality with the pass and there was luck involved because we had the ball twice or once. So the reaction was also good from that. You see the stadium wakes up immediately, but we didn't allow anything."
"So I am happy with the response to that."
"We lacked a bit of determination today, in the box to win this game. Sometimes happens. It's on us to learn from it. If you want to win on stages like this you have to be clinical. Once you have it you need to be fully alert."
"We have to live with a point but it is unfair. It was totally not deserved. We worked so hard to get the lead and created so many chances. Suddenly the opponent gets one free shot and scores."
"Reecey played a very good match. Mason was unlucky with his decisions. Could have been more precise, decisive to score and assist. He has been very good in the last weeks. We needed it today to have a clear win."
"We had too many matches where we drew this season. Even earlier in the season - Burnley, Everton. We clearly deserve more out of these. It's on us. We should take what is deserved."
Thomas Tuchel on whether he can help his attackers be more clinical:
"It's for them to also adapt. It's still a time of adaptation to the schedule. The schedule is ruthless for us and the demands."

"We have our own things around us and our own situation to be focused. We were very focused and spot on and that's what we have to concentrate on and to continue doing."

"You see the quality. You see what we missed over weeks. It is the story of the season. We miss too many key players for too long. Need to compensate. We do on a high level, full credit to the team."
"We are in top three and deserve to be there. It is quite the loss when you see performances like this [James] and miss this for months. From him, Kova, N'Golo, Chilwell. Far too much.
Reece James on wing-back role:

Marcos Alonso on Chelsea draw at Man United:
"Not enough after what we saw on the pitch. We deserved the three points, it's a pity we couldn't convert. Lots of positives to take. We move on."
Marcos Alonso on his goal vs Man United:
"Yeah, I would say happy but the most important was the three points. It was a pity. We created the chances, had them under control and we are disappointed for that."

"Just to put the ball in. We created the chances, we stuck to the plan and got chances from crosses and movements inside. A good game. Big disappointed not to get three points."

"He is one of these players who are precise in finishing so we hope it finds its way to his left foot."
Thomas Tuchel on Chelsea draw with Man United:
"We had another one [chance] on the post from Reece, a huge chance from Kai Havertz. We were not clinical, composed or efficient enough in the box."
"Everything else was excellent. We played with courage, a lot of effort, played as a team. I am happy with the performance. The result is okay. We have to live with it."
