There's no place in the holy book where drinking liquor is censured - Rev. Owusu Bempah
The Founder and head of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah has kept up with that though the holy book makes different notices of liquor, the sacred book never denounced drinking.
Reverend Bempah last week pursued public talk subsequent to expressing in a radio meeting that a Christian can't be said to have trespassed by drinking liquor.
Supporting his cases in a new meeting with Oman Channel, Rev Owusu Bempah said "there is no place that book of scriptures denounces drinking liquor."
He emphasized that the main wrong connected with liquor is exorbitant drinking which can prompt inebriation and unpredictable way of behaving.
He cited a few book of scriptures sacred texts to help his situation
Perusing from the book of Genesis Chapter 14 stanza 8, Rev Owusu Bempah contended that "Abraham and Melchizedek met and he gave his offering. What Melchizedek who is an esteemed cleric of God gave Abraham was bread and wine. Whenever the holy book specifies wine, there's no wine in the book of scriptures that isn't alcoholic. Each wine contains liquor. Whenever you go to stores and see a few beverages marked non-alcoholic wine, it is organic product juice. However, the genuine wine in Israel contains liquor."
He accentuated that one can't be said to have missed out on going to paradise by righteousness of drinking liquor however added that drinking should be done with some restraint.
"We can do basically everything except it not all that is more right than wrong to be finished. Whenever you read from similar first Corinthians section 10:31, it says 'whether you eat or drink, drink it to the greatness of God.' That implies you are to comport yourself when you drink and not act mischievously. So assuming somebody says one will take a hike since they drink liquor that is obviously false," he added.
