The Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Mark Okraku-Mantey, has announced his aim to challenge the Ayensuano Constituency seat come 2024.
The organizer and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Slip Mark Entertainment, addressing Onua TV on Friday, April 29, has promised to win the seat back for the decision New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The previous Chairman of Parliamentary Select advisory group on Road and Transport, Samuel Ayeh-Paye, lost the seat to the main resistance National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020 surveys.
NPP had involved the seat for a very long time until the NDC occupant Member of Parliament, Teddy Safori Addi, grabbed it with 250 votes.
Yet, the previous well known TV3 Mentor judge is hopeful of winning the seat whenever given the gesture at the voting public and neighborhood level.
He repeated that Ayensuano stays a fortress for NPP and he will do all that could be within reach to win the seat back come 2024 general races.
"I lived in the body electorate until I became well known on the screens thus I realize that my kin will not dishearten me whenever chose for lead the party in voting public."
He added: "It's not necessary to focus on prevalence however difficult work and benevolent administration and that is the thing I have done this years in my political vocation."
In any case, Mr Okraku-Mantey conceded that detachment and lack of concern impacted the party in the voting public, subsequently the deficiency of the seat by the NPP.
