As the summer transfer window approaches, Manchester United is keeping an eye on Darwin Nunez.
Manchester United is said to have launched a £67 million approach for Darwin Nunez of Benfica. Due to the uncertainties surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo's, Marcus Rashford's, Mason Greenwood's, Edinson Cavani's, and Anthony Martial's futures, the Red Devils will require a new centre-forward this summer. It remains to be seen whether they are successful in landing one of Europe's most exciting prospects.
Nunez has been extensively linked with a move to Manchester United in recent weeks, with the striker hitting 33 goals in 39 games this season.
And now, according to journalist Pedro Almeida, the Red Devils have made a £67 million proposal for the midfielder.
It's uncertain whether Benfica will accept this offer, but United appears to be looking ahead to the summer.Nunez would be a great addition to their lineup.
And United's track record of bringing players from the Primeira Liga to Old Trafford shows he'd be a success there.

While Alex Telles and Marcos Rojo were duds, Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Nani, and Anderson had successful careers with the club.
United will need a new striker this summer if they are to win the Premier League for the first time since 2013.
Despite the fact that the 37-year-old is nearing the end of his career, Ronaldo has scored 23 goals in all competitions this season.
But there's no guarantee he'll stay for another round.Cavani will be allowed to depart for free after United convinced him to sign a new contract 12 months ago.

Greenwood has been on the sidelines since his arrest in January, and the striker has been suspended.
And Martial is poised to be let go after failing to live up to his expectations since his debut in 2015.
Erling Haaland was the target of United's initial pursuit.
However, following a disastrous season, the Red Devils are no longer in a position to fight for the Borussia Dortmund star's signature.
Nunez would be a wonderful option, but United aren't the only team linked with him.West Ham sought to sign the 22-year-old in the January transfer window, and the Hammers may make another bid, especially if they qualify for the Champions League.
With Romelu Lukaku struggling for form, Chelsea might make a move.
Nunez is a target for Arsenal, who have yet to sign a striker since Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left in January.
Liverpool has also been mentioned as a possible suitor.
Meanwhile, Diego Forlan, a former United player, backed a move for Nunez this summer in an interview earlier this month.
