Samsung's advert for the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Buds shows a young lady running alone around midnight. Samsung has apologized for a new advert which showed a lady getting up at 02:00 to go for a drive through the roads of a city alone. The advert has been censured by certain ladies' running gatherings and security campaigners for being "ridiculous". Samsung has told Radio 1 Newsbeat it was never its goal to "be unfeeling toward continuous discussions around ladies' security.
"We apologize for how this might have been gotten," it adds. “The evening people's mission was planned in light of a positive message: to celebrate uniqueness and provide an opportunity to practice during the hours. Ladies' wellbeing group Reclaim These Streets has portrayed it as "musically challenged" considering the passing of Ashling Murphy, who was killed in a disagreement in January.
