The inaugural edition of the Ghana Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Vision and Awards Project, which will take place on April 29, 2022, at the Kempiski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra, has a total of 40 people selected.

Out of the 113 people that were considered for the awards, the nominees were chosen.

The project, which is a one-of-a-kind, never-before-seen event, includes a documentary film on top CEOs, magazine articles, and awards.

The initiative aims to recognize and reward leadership excellence in Ghana's business environment by honoring success, innovation, and leadership brilliance across all industries and business sectors.

It also aims to provide the largest and most sought-after pitching venues for CEOs who have utilized the power of ideas to alter people's minds, lives, and, eventually, the country.

Mr. Latif Abubakar, Project Lead at the Ghana CEO Vision and Awards Project, said the project aims to offer a flourishing platform for CEOs to stay engaged, current, ahead of the game, and recognized while providing opportunities and honoring visionaries.

"The Ghana CEO Vision will showcase Ghana and its different business sectors to the rest of the globe, chronicle and share creative triumphs achieved by CEOs, and honor those who have altered lives and the country," he added.

Speaker (Keynote)

Because of his role as the country's CEO, Mr. Abubakar said the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, had been picked as the keynote speaker to spearhead the initiative.

"You have no other individual leading this sort of endeavor but the CEO of CEOs," he remarked, noting that the President also serves as the country's CEO.

a standard of excellence

He described the awards as a "benchmark of excellence," stating that the benchmarks for individual leadership performance will be based on a set of key performance indicators (KPIs) that define the criteria of excellence.

"Innovation, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, job creation, and profitability would be key among the requirements," he said.

Platforms

The Ghana CEO Vision, themed "Leadership Worth Celebrating," is separated into three platforms: a documentary film production, awards and banquet, and the Ghana CEO Magazine.

Categories

The prizes for CEO of CEOs, Female of the Year, and Entrepreneur of the Year are just a few of the categories that are sure to be talked about all night.

Mr. Latif Abubakar, Project Lead at the Ghana CEO Vision, explained that the Ghana CEO Vision aims to create a vibrant platform for CEOs to be engaged, current, ahead of the game, and recognized while generating opportunities and recognizing visionaries.

"The Ghana CEO Vision will showcase Ghana and its different business sectors to the rest of the globe, chronicle and share creative triumphs achieved by CEOs, and honor those who have altered lives and the country," he added.
