Kylian Mbappe's contract with PSG comes to an end in the summer and it is expected that the young Parisian will sign for Real Madrid as rumored by many.
When asked if Kylian Mbappe would play for Los Blancos next season, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez responded with a joke.
With only four games left in the season, the Spanish side secured the league title with a 4-0 home win over Espanyol, putting them 17 points ahead of second-placed Sevilla. As a result, the focus will now shift to the upcoming season and what can be accomplished.
Mbappe, who has been heavily linked with a move to the Spanish capital this summer, is one player who may help Madrid maintain their domestic dominance. The PSG's 23-year-old forward is out of contract at the end of the season and has yet to sign a new contract to stay at the club.
Liverpool has been linked with Mbappe in recent months, and there is a growing anticipation that the La Liga winners will try to finalise a deal after missing out on the French international during the January transfer window.
Perez, when asked about the possibility of signing the 2018 World Cup winner, told Movistar via Marca: "Kylian Mbappé has a lot of fans. I hadn't considered it before, but now that you mention it, it's possible. We'll see what happens when we plan the team for the next season."
Taking into account the many rumours surrounding his transfer, and no the president of the Los Blancos giving a positive but funny comment on it, Kylian Mbappe is more likely to make a move to Real madrid than to move to Liverpool side come this summer.
