Elche 1-1 Osasuna
These two groups sat fourteenth and ninth before the beginning of the present match. On account of the home side, likely sufficiently distant from the transfer zone to set their financial plans for next season and on account of Osasuna, presumably only excessively far from Europe to do likewise.
That didn't show on the pitch at first notwithstanding. In the initial half Elche lost two starters to injury, Raul Guti and Pedro Bigas both falling off harmed in what was an actual experience. Elche, controlled by their numerous coarse Argentines, and Osasuna, diverting their regular Basque power.
It was the hosts who began better, constraining a point clear save from Sergio Herrera right off the bat and by and large showing up at the Osasuna box on a more regular basis. As that early energy died down in any case, Osasuna played themselves back into it and all were happy to get into the break without pursuing the game on a warm evening.
It would be the guests who got the high ground in the underlying phases of the final part however, going on through an Ante Budimir punishment. The Croatian got round his man in the container and was felled from behind, before coolly folding the ball into the corner. That made it six successive matches scoring for Budimir, another Osasuna record.
As the sun beat down on the players, Elche battled their direction back into goalscoring positions and at last got a compensation for their endeavors. A corner from the right side observed the highest point of Pere Milla's head at the close to post. His look took it over Sergio Herrera and across the line before the freedom could be made.
Osasuna had a late opportunity as more Elche players kept on separating, yet that coarseness saw them get a square in against Budimir. Respects completed even in an even match between two comparative groups.
