The abnormal fondness and feeling of sexual desire for animals is known as beastiality or zoophilia. Beastiality or zoophilia little or less existed in the olden days but it's fast rising in our modern days. With the revisions of clauses in human right laws all over the world, a level of freedom has been granted in some part of the world to engage in beastiality.
Although there is no active statistics on the annual cases of beastiality but some latest videos that keep circulating on the internet seems to be sending some signals that a section of people around the world are accepting it as a normal act.
With latest controversies on LGBTQI+ acceptance around some part of the world, news and incidences of this act keeps circulating. This has raised questions among the section of people who frowns such acts especially in the African community setting.
A latest video which was seen on the internet involving an African lady and a dog having sexual intercourse has kept people in shock and wandering what's happening lately. The African community setting frowns greatly on acts of bestiality and do not tolerate it around, although some countries like United States and United kingdom allows such acts as part of human right advocacy but in the African community it's a great taboo which is believed to attract curses from ancestors and small gods and defies the land in addition.
Having an intercourse with an animal also have adverse health effects. 44.9 per cent of people who engages in beastiality have high risk of getting penile cancer. A leaked chat of a lady who narrated the ordeal she's facing post intercourse. The lady shared that she was forced to have sexual intercourse with a dog for money which she used some to rent and apartment and buy a car, but after months she's experiencing greater health devastation which deals with genital problems which she's finding it difficult to find solutions to it.
Back to the question. What will make someone have a sexual attraction towards an animal?. In the western world where people likes to explore their fantasies, we can say they engage in it for fun and some people or scientists can set it up for their experiments and test. But in the African countries where exploration is rare due to the face of the economy and people's desire for financial freedom coupled with some confessions from victim concludes that people especially females do it for money. Because of financial difficulties, little money offered can convince one to engage in this activity without pre thinking of the health and social effects. Some common animals involved in this acts includes dogs, horses, snakes, cats, just to mention but few.
Beastiality or zoophilia which most countries especially Arab countries has completely banned is becoming a fast rising activity in the African environment and because there is no clear laws that seeks to punish culprits, society tends to look over it. But this should be seriously looked at since the health and the social effect is devastating and demeaning effects on those who engages in it.
