Thank you very much for always reading my post. Kindly share this very important information to reach the people in all the areas of Greater Accra.

Greater Accra Region traditional council wish to inform all people in Ga, to notice their festival and for that matter, all noise will be ban till the time of festival. This include, bar or pub operators, churches, Spinners, and others who use or play music all over.

The traditional leaders says, anyone who do not go by their instructions will be sanctioned and face the consequences. This festival will be celebrated in each town so each community member should put in mind not to disturb during the day of banning noise - making.

The Greater Accra Traditional Council has come out with a date to start this banning exercise. The date for Ban of drumming and noise making has declared on Monday, May 9, 2022. During this time, there wi be a light out till the next morning. Homewo is one most important festival celebration for the people of Ga.

This ban over drumming and noise making will be over or come to an end before the festival. According to one traditional elder (Wulomo) on GTV morning show, said if you are owning a land in this region, does not mean you are not part of this banning.

He said all must to follow every instruction given especially to churches, drinking spot owners, pub operators, cultural groups and other people using Music or drums, or even if you own a house on the land of Ga. This happened each and year which its must observe till it come to an end. Ban of noise-making is import to do to clear the path before the festival.
