The brave hopes and the coward gives up. In this life nothing is certain apart from death. Status can change, destinies can be realized and dreams can be achieved. But sooner rather than later the one who hopes is given a reality check. Theories were propounded, thesis were developed yet none of them were able to uncover this strange but wonderful piece of ancient topic. We have been very close to understanding it but suddenly it gave us a strange taste of it uncertainty. No wonder we were told "life is not fair" and no wonder we believed it because it leaves people in the "dark" when dealing with them so how can it be "fair"?
Life in itself is a puzzle so complex such that no one has been able to fully solve. Those who chase it end up getting dazed as if they had a marathon in a maze. No matter what we have life and we must live it. What then is life? Like many before us life has been a very difficult topic to study. It has it own rules and is no respecter of persons. Philosophers tried but they were left with more questions than answers. The wise tried to unravel mysteries surrounding it but they were left amazed by what they saw.
It is fascinating in all spheres and hilarious in every shape it takes. Those who want to run call it a race, those who want to fight call it a war, those who want to learn call it a test, and those who want to travel call it a journey. None is wrong and none is right; life in itself is full of life.
Isn’t it funny when the Lawyers call it a mystery, the farmers call it a season, the teachers call it an examination and the drivers call it a destination.
Once upon a time you were born and you were given life. Just enjoy it and live it. Like many before you it was never understood, many went into their graves with unanswered questions. Like a stage many exited it with pains and bitterness, many left it earlier than anticipated and yet many made a good use of it until they were asked to vacate it.
The next time you have doubts over life take a deep breath and remember those before you. You have life and you have to live it……
