The Plight Of An Author On Blogpay

Welcome to my page.

It must be noted that, authors to any website are the hearts of the said site. Blogpay is one of such sites that allows Individuals to register and blog on their site for money.

This site started operating in 2020 of which I joined later that year. Views were being synchronized by authors manually until they(Blogpay) said, authors were misusing that then, it became the work of the platform to synchronize views of articles at the end of the day which wasn't encouraging, but seems authors have no say.

Fast-forward 2022, they started with a different way of synchronizing views which is now instant. Instant to mean that, anytime a visitor visits your article to read, it shall be counted as a view, but most at times this is not the real reflection of views. As for now, the views don't even add up as they used to.

To my main point, they(Blogpay) made authors aware of their word count as 500, but stated that below it CAN BE CONSIDERED which was a total deceit. As I write, 97% of authors' earnings have been taken away because their contents have been considered as INVALID. Where is the consideration? Articles with 200+ words have all been flagged as INVALID CONTENT.

Meanwhile, Blogpay stated in their terms and conditions that, below their laid down word count, there can be a consideration. Were they throwing dust into authors eyes?

The most ironic part of it all is, they are now saying their minimum word count is 300. Are t thinking what I'm thinking? They will soon flag post with 300 words as invalid because to them, it's the minimum.

You may be wondering why I'm making this post. After researching on their action, I realized that, they have been unfair to most authors.

AdSense does not flag post with low content, but rather reduce revenue for invalid clicks which happens almost every 5 to 10 minutes should there be any invalid activity on a post.

AdSense is being used by Opera News of which I write for and their minimum word count is 150.

Why on earth would Blogpay allow authors to earn money on post for months and just get up one day to take all their earnings in the name of the article having low word count?

I need genuine answers because I smell a fish. Wait a minute, where did the money earned by some authors for months have gone to?

You know the fanny part, before they started this, others with same low word counts had withdrawn from that same system few days to their operation of flagging posts and have been paid.

Is this fair?

Blogpay allow the system to release valid views and stop frustrating authors.

As I write, others have stopped writing.
