President Nana Akufo-Addo has appointed Afi Azaratu Yabuku as the new Secretary General of the National Arms Commission.

"The Board of the National Arms Commission has finalized the announcement of Ms. Afi Azaratu Yakubu's program by the Honorable Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo the President of the Republic of Ghana as the new Executive Secretary of the Commission on Thursday, April 28, 2022.
"Mrs. Afi Yakubu has moved faster than Secretary-General Jones B Apple," he added.
