Mr. Stephen Harper, the 22nd Prime Minister of Canada, says the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is undoubtedly the most liberal and democratic society in Africa.
He explained that the NPP has promoted the concept of free elections, the rule of law, the market for growth, and free trade of Continental trade in Africa.
"Since the inception of the Fourth Republic, Ghana has become a unique and exemplary model for Africa in line with the international model of freedom and justice.
"Ghana is a free, secure, prosperous, and prosperous democratic party, especially under the NPP," he said.
Mr. Harper made the remarks in a public address in Accra by the Young Democrat Union of Africa (YDUA) entitled: "Democracy and National Politics: A Global Vision for a Transformation of International Order."

Mr. Harper noted that the challenges of a democratic society were small and could easily be addressed through public debates, real changes in government, and public policy.

Economic inequality, the involvement of young people in politics, and the older generation advising young people to take the lead were some of the key discussions the open forum focused on.
