The 64-year-old imparted the news to his fans today and that he is having chemotherapy.
He uncovered he 'hasn't been too well as of late' - prior to telling the overwhelming news to adherents.
Talking about the sickness with his TV cooking accomplice Si King, 55, on their web recording, he said: "I perhaps a baldy biker for some time… it's basically something I need to live with."
Dave proceeded: "In any case Kingy, I must tell the truth now, I haven't been too well as of late and essentially, I must have some chemo, you know this at any rate, so this year will be a piece calm for me, I won't film, a portion of the celebrations I won't have the option to go to, some might be alright yet the current year's somewhat of a discount for us."
He added: "I have needed to shout out about this since I would rather not stow away under a stone, yet I would cherish it assuming individuals regarded my security and just let me continue ahead with it and give Si and our group all the help they need, that sounds incredible. Yet, look, the forecast is alright, I will be fine."
Dave closed: "I've recently got to wrap up, take care of myself, eat reasonably and move past this wreck, lash books, and be a cheerful individual so inside that, that is where I am.
