Carla Ward is certain Hannah Hampton will be an Aston Villa player next season, with the Villa supervisor demanding the goalkeeper isn't 'going anyplace' in the mid year.

The 20-year-old has partaken in one more heavenly season in the WSL, and was compensated with her senior England debut against Spain in February. She has proceeded to intrigue in both of her excursions for the Lionesses.

Hampton joined Villa from Birmingham in July 2021 - a move that saw her rejoin with previous Blues supervisor Ward - yet has one more year staying on her agreement. There has been theory of interest in the goalkeeper from other WSL sides and groups in Europe, however Ward underlined Villa's craving to keep her.

"100 percent, she's staying put," Ward said. "She's contracted, we need to kick on and push ahead. I've seen a considerable amount of garbage around it this week, and it is gibberish since she's an Aston Villa player, she's my best option attendant. She's a guardian who can, as far as I might be concerned, proceed to be one of the world's ideal, in addition to England's ideal, I figure she can be one of the world's ideal.

"How could we need to relinquish one of our top, top players? We wouldn't. Clearly there's a value and everybody's head and you know what, cash talks a few times. Yet, for me she's not available to be purchased, she'll be here the following year, we need her here. Hannah's a top, top player and somebody we need to keep at this club."On the subject of expected comings and goings in the mid year, Ward added that she might want to see both Anna Patten and Jill Scott back at the club next season.

The pair joined Villa borrowed in January from Arsenal and Manchester City separately, and have included vigorously for Ward's side in the last part of the time preceding disease and injury disturbing their finish to the mission.

"The effect she's made at Villa has been extraordinary," Ward said of Scott. "Whether we can make it work for various reasons we'll keep a watch out, however 100 percent we might want to bring Jill back next season. I believe she's been incredible for the players, extraordinary for me, somebody that I've likewise gained from and totally assuming we had the chance to bring her back we would."

Whenever found out if there was an opportunity of Patten getting back to the club either forever or borrowed, Ward added: "No doubt I might want to think so. We need top players here next season. Did the credit work? Totally. Discussions we'll keep on having with Arsenal and ideally we can get something arranged."
