Brentford manager Thomas Frank has supported remarks he made before in the season that Manchester United were 'staggeringly fortunate' in their 3-1 win against the Bees in January.
The west London side were made to lament their inefficiency and Frank was enthusiastic in his conviction that his men were hard finished by post-game.
"Incredibly glad for my group. We are the littlest club in the Premier League, Manchester United the greatest," Frank said at that point.
"We annihilated them in the primary half, they didn't have a sniff, three tremendous possibilities and there could have been one champ of this game. They are staggeringly fortunate. I realize all the stuff about taking risks. They changed the framework against little Brentford."
Brentford travel to Old Trafford for the opposite installation on Monday night and when inquired as to whether he actually remains by his explosion following January's misfortune, Frank kept up with his position that Man Utd were lucky that evening.
"Definitely, I think we played an incredible first half and ought to effortlessly have been up with two objectives. Yet again sadly, their best performing player this season, [David] De Gea, performed incredibly against us," he said.
"We couldn't exactly keep it up in the last part however I figure the general exhibition we can be very fulfilled. You are Brentford playing against perhaps the greatest club in the world."Despite Brentford's solid presentation against United the last time they met, Frank is inflexible that the Red Devils have a 'top notch's assault that can undermine any side.
"The club is one of the greatest in world football, perhaps the greatest club in world football with what they've made throughout the long term. The group, I think they are clearly battling with their desires, I imagine that is no confidential, I can express that with next to no discourtesy. They've had an intense season, as generally it's bad when you need to sack a director or lead trainer since something isn't correct. I realize I'm somewhat one-sided yet once in a while it's perhaps not the supervisor [who is at fault]," he said.
"Concerning their own assumptions, not discussing the entire world's assumptions but rather their own assumptions, I'm almost certain they needed to be higher [in the table] and expected to be higher. It's as yet a group of elite players, I think on paper they're possibly one of the most amazing hostile [teams]. Ronaldo, Fernandes, Sancho, Rashford, I think those four are among the best in the association on their greatest day. It's a colossal test and I'm anticipating it."
