Chelsea supporters will be pleased with the new owners' signing strategy

While the senior Chelsea team fell short on Saturday, the Blues Under-23s and Women's teams performed admirably on Sunday. The U-23s were on the verge of relegation but, thankfully for the club, avoided the drop. The'reserves' are currently in Premier League 2 Division one and will remain there in 2022/23. Tottenham Hotspur were defeated at Cobham training ground by goals from Dion Rankine and Lewis Hall. Meanwhile, the Kingsmeadow club won its third Super League title in a row. Sam Kerr's brace was instrumental in their 4-2 victory over Manchester United.

At Stamford Bridge, the Pensioners let Wolverhampton Wanderers come back from a 2-0 deficit after dominating for much of the game.

Romelu Lukaku, like Kerr, also scored a couple. To begin with, a penalty was confidently dispatched. Only two minutes later, another goal came from open play and was well-taken. Unfortunately for the hosts, commanding Wolves centreback Conor Coady scored as the comeback began. Then, with 97 seconds left on the clock, Francisco Trincao completed the comeback. If you can believe it! 60 percent ball possession and 19 shots on any goalkeeper should be enough to win. Though Thomas Tuchel's men's struggles at the Bridge continue in this final stretch, finishing in the top four remains critical and achievable.

According to reports, Chelsea fans will be pleased with the new owners' signing strategy.

Blues executives and managers will begin planning a squad overhaul at Fulham Road. Or, more precisely, decisions will be made on which marquee moves CFC should pursue. Will the world's top talent still make an appearance at the Bridge under new ownership? That outcome appears to be very likely.

What I'm referring to is a fascinating claim making the rounds in the media right now, which states that Boehly will fund Tuchel's "A-list" signings. So, it appears that we can expect a steady stream of premium and illustrious incoming stars in the coming campaigns. That's fantastic news.

Expectations for Boehly's agenda include suggestions that the Los Angeles Dodgers president must reassure the German manager that uncertainty over key personnel will end.

Todd Boehly, his consortium, will begin operations as early as this week, on Monday Handing new and improved deals to foremost assets such as Reece James and Mason Mount is another item at the top of the to-do list. The current owners believe they must announce themselves with good deeds while also understanding that they are trailing other outfits due to sanctions. This issue is thought to have played a significant role in Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen switching to Real Madrid and Barcelona, respectively.

"Get the cash out, Todd," as the ever-delicate Daily Mail put it. But where will the new Blues boss of bosses throw his money? Allow Pride of London to make an educated guess: Erling Haaland of Borussia Dortmund is at the top of every football fan's wish list. That statement applies to both fans and managers. The competition for his signature, on the other hand, will be fierce. There's also the issue of many people, including Tuchel, believing Lukaku deserves another chance to prove himself.
