Virgil van Dijk has deplored Liverpool's 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur, yet demanded that the Reds need to transform their failure 'into concentration's in front of the last couple of rounds of the time.
The point saw Liverpool move top of the Premier League table on objective contrast with only three games left to play. The issue, in any case, is that Man City have four games left to play, incorporating Sunday's conflict with an in-structure Newcastle United side.
With City completely expected to win on Sunday, the Premier League title race is a lot of now in their grasp.
Talking after the game to BT Sport, Van Dijk said that Liverpool knew how Tottenham would play yet battled to manage it.
"Clearly we knew their strategy, we realized the quality they have, particularly on the break," he said. "I think ready we were simply not sufficient. We lost the ball in tough spots and assuming you lose the ball in those circumstances you're not efficient, so they can do what they are great at."Every break on going after corners was very hazardous also. Eventually, it's disappointing. It is disappointing to drop focuses, yet we need to recuperate and play the leftover games. We have very interesting games actually coming up and we need to transform disillusionment now into center around Villa."
He proceeded: "That is the quality they have, you must be coordinated well, you must be prepared to run back. I think we lost the ball when we attempted to compel it a tad in peril regions where they can break on us.
"Clearly you need to give them credit, they made great possibilities also, on the break particularly. We were searching for the adjuster and we got it. Yet, we were searching for the victor too and we were unable to win today, sadly."
