Henry Nana Boakye, the New Patriotic Party's National Youth Organiser, has formally launched his candidacy for the job of National Organiser.
His declaration comes as the Party prepares to elect new national executives in the run-up to the general elections in 2024.
In a press release announcing the start of his campaign for the position of next National Organiser, he stated that his decision is "based on the enormous experience and relevant skill set I have acquired coupled with proven track record whiles rising through the ranks – from Polling Station, TESCON, Constituency, Region to my current position as National Youth Organizer."
"This week in Ashanti Region, where I will meet freshly elected and appointed officials," he said. As I aim to be the next National Organizer of the NPP, I will present my vision and set of objectives to Constituency Officers."
He promised to run a campaign that is "completely clean and decorous, devoid of insults, contempt, or personal assaults whatsoever."
He went on to say that he is confident in his track record and that his 10-point strategic plan would be enough to persuade voters to grant him the job.
The ten-point strategy plan titled "Strategic Organization for NPP's Sustained Growth & Success" includes the following items:
"1. Creating a master plan for all-inclusive and participatory activities"
2. Operation Recover Missing Seat
3. Strategic communication based on effective planning and training
4 Mobilization of Resources and Logistic
5. A better management system for volunteers and identified groups
6 Program of continuous training and capacity building
Outreach Programs for Special Wings (Youth, Women, and Nasara)
8. Increasing the Party's Membership Recruitment Efforts
9. Computerization (Operational & organizational feedback system)
He added, "10. Strengthening Diaspora Party Activities and Programs."
"I bring to the table a wealth of trusted organizational and leadership expertise, and the NPP's organizational arm, under my watch, will assist deliver victory to our party's people in 2024," he concluded.
