According to GHANAsoccernet.com, the Ghana FA is in talks with seven dual-nationality players to switch nationalities and play for the Black Stars at the 2022 World Cup.
Ghana qualified for the Qatar World Cup and will compete in Group H against Portugal, Uruguay, and Korea Republic.
Before the World Cup in November, the Ghana FA is working around the clock to persuade some of these key players.
Chelsea's Callum Hudson Odoi
According to media sources, Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi has obtained his passport in preparation for his nationality move to play for the Black Stars.
Hudson-Odoi was born in London, England, and holds both English and Ghanaian citizenship due to his father's Ghanaian heritage.
He has already played three matches for England's A squad, although FIFA rules allow players under the age of 21 to switch national teams after playing up to three A matches.
The Arsenal striker is also being spoken about for the World Cup. Nketia has played for England at the junior level but not at the senior level.
The Ghana Football Association is also pursuing Tariq Lamptey for the 2022 World Cup.
The Ghana FA and former coach Otto Addo have approached the 22-year-old about switching nationalities. Lamptey has played youth football for England and is eligible to play for the Black Stars.

Despite being denied calls to the national squad, the Ghana FA has not given up on the center-back. In an interview, interim Black Stars coach Otto Addo stated that Mohammed Salisu will join the national team when he is ready.

According to reports, the Ghana FA is also interested in signing the Atletico Bilbao Inaki twins to bolster the team's attack ahead of the World Cup. Inaki recently retweeted a post about the Black Stars' World Cup draw, fueling rumors of a nationality swap on social media.
