A few weeks ago, Ghanaian disc jockey and ABN radio 1 presenter known in the showbiz industry as Dj slim went hard on the music group Asakaa and called the ungrateful for discrediting the media for their success in the Ghanaian music industry. Dj slim venting out his anger on the Asakaa was a comment they made about not needing the media to survive.
According to Dj slim, the media have played their songs on their radio stations countless times without charging them a penny, and yet they claim they do not need the media to survive. He further added that he was the one who gave them their first interview after the release of their hit song yet they express u gratefulness towards him. The back and forth went on with jay bahd from the Asakaa group releasing a diss song titled “democracy” in which he dissed Dj slim, Dj slim also replied with “rule of law” where he also addressed the jay bahd and the Asakaa crew.
Dj slim has since blacklisted the Asakaa music group and it seems their songs and brand is fading away as they do not get their songs played and hyped as they used to at first. Ruthy a highly opinionated entertainment critic reacting to the news revealed that Dj slim got it all wrong it should have never blacklisted the Asakaa boys regardless of their wrongdoings.
She further added that Dj slim was the one who brought all these kumerica agenda which was successful and made a lot of waves, hence the birth of the Asakaa group so blacklisting them was a no-no.
