An obsession with the field of interest
The greatest minds have one thing in common. They don’t have fleeting interests in whatever they’re working on.
In fact,Guest Posting outstanding people from Michelangelo to Beethoven, from Charles Dickens to Nikola Tesla, and even Michael Jackson were all believed to have suffered from Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder!
Of course, it would be pure stupidity to conclude that OCD is a guarantee of success and start developing it. We just want to say that geniuses put all their efforts in order to bring their ideas to life. Always be passionate about your goal!
A strong belief in a higher purpose
If a person believes that there is a higher purpose in all of this, he becomes capable of tremendous feats. This belief, whatever it might be, motivates a person to move toward his ultimate goal. And if your purpose is stronger than you and your own ego, it can inspire you to reach greater heights.
Driven by a desire to invent a device that would have helped his deaf mother to hear, Alexander Graham Bell became one of the greatest and most productive inventors of his time.
Monk-like focus
With a higher purpose guiding their ideas and a pinpoint focus on their field of interest, geniuses are able to create clear goals, follow them, and run the course without getting caught off the track.
Intense focus also helps to ignore someone else’s opinion. Steve Jobs, for example, had incredible focus. He was involved in Zen Buddhism, and it was said that “focus and simplicity” was one of his favorite mantras. Jobs has never been influenced by criticism. Being fired from the company he had built himself, he preserved his own vision and was re-hired later to create the culture-shifting Apple everybody knows today.

They keep a journal with them constantly
The world’s greatest minds put their thoughts on paper. Everyone from Benjamin Franklin to Winston Churchill, Virginia Woolf to Frida Kahlo, John D. Rockefeller to John Adams, all kept a journal.
This is a way to refine the ideas, separate the valuable from worthless, and find out possible suggestions.
