Football management, especially at the highest levels, is a high-risk, high-reward profession. Managers are praised and sought after for their consistent results and awards. They are, however, more likely to be sacked if they fail to deliver positive results or if they have a falling out with their players or the organization's management. Managers have been fired increasingly frequently in recent years when they fail to meet objectives. Despite the fact that many modern managers have had short tenures, certain coaches have never been fired.
Didier Deschamps (5th).
He was chosen manager of Les Bleus after Euro 2012 and has now been in control for more than a decade. Deschamps has led France to the World Cup, the Nations League, and Euro 2016 second place. Before becoming France's national team manager, Deschamps coached Monaco, Juventus, and Marseille. The Frenchman is a living legend who has never lost a job in his professional life. He is one of just three men, along with Mario Zagallo and Franz Beckenbauer, to have won the World Cup both as a player and as a manager.
Luis Enrique (#4).
Luis has managed both the club and the national squad of Spain. The former manager led Barcelona during its glory years. He and Catalonia won the UCL in 2015, destroying everyone in the tournament. With them, Enrique not only won the fifth UCL, but also a treble. He won two La Liga titles and three Copa Del Reys with Barcelona. Luis also inspired probably the greatest comeback in football history when he led PSG to victory. Spain has likewise been well served by the Spaniard. His side qualified for both the Euro 2020 semifinals and the Nations League final.
3. Zinedine Zinedine
Zinedine.Zidane was a champion at club and national level as a player. He still had the drive and determination to succeed as a top manager. It's impossible to compare his successes to those of Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp for obvious reasons. While both have better tactical abilities, Zidane is known for his man-management skills. The allure of the former Ballon d'Or winner, who expects respect from his teammates, attracts players. Zidane has worked as a coach at the Santiago Bernabeu twice. He was fired from both positions, and the Frenchman quit on both occasions.
2. Guardiola, Pep.
PepGuardiola is widely regarded as one of the best managers of the twenty-first century. He was one of Barcelona's most influential players throughout his time there. After that, Guardiola managed Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City. The Spaniard oversaw the 2009-2011 Barcelona team, widely regarded as the best in history. Lionel Messi has won the UCL twice with Barcelona, and in 2012, he scored 91 goals, achieving the impossible. He then moved on to Manchester City, where he took on a new task.
1. Klopp, Jurgen.
Klopp is one of the world's most popular managers. He started his career at Mainz before joining Dortmund and leading them to the Champions League final in 2013, where Bayern Munich defeated them. He is now the manager of Liverpool, which he led to a sixth Champions League title and their first Premier League title in over 30 years.
