Ghanaian rapper Kaw Kese is not happy with fans and Ghanaians as a whole for the comparison between the new artists and veterans. Ghanaians more often compare an upcoming artist to an already successful artist once he or she manages to get a hit song and veteran rapper Kaw kese is not happy. According to him, it means disrespect to compare someone who has been doing music for over ten years to a new artist who has barely been in the game for three years, According to him it brings down the energy level of the veteran act.
Recently, gyakie was mostly being compared to Efya, Kweku flick to Kwesi Arthur, and so on. Although these acts have constantly asked their fans not to compare them it seems the fans have turned a dead ear and keep making the comparisons day in and out on various social media platforms.
Reacting to these critics, rapper Kaw Kese took to his official Twitter page to question fans if they sleep on pillows because he does not get why they will compare an artist who has been doing music for more than ten years to a two years journey artist. Kaw kese has been in the music industry for over a decade.
“How do you people sleep? How can you compare someone who’s been in the game consistently for over 10 years to someone who just started Do you people sleep on pillows at all ??? When will the disrespect stop koraaa,” he questioned in a tweet.
