John Aldridge says it may be time for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to leave Liverpool, while James Milner discusses his choice to leave Manchester City for Anfield in 2015.

For Wednesday, May 18, here is your Liverpool morning digest.
'This summer, Liverpool must sell a £35 million star.'
ECHO columnist John Aldridge discusses Alex Oxlade-future Chamberlain's at Liverpool, as well as the Reds' current situation.
"Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain appears to be on his way out of Liverpool this summer.Whether the club can afford it, despite the fact that he hasn't been involved when he feels he should have been. He appears to be one of the people who moves on.
"At 28 years old, he's still young in football terms, and he's got years left in him." But he needs game time, which he won't get at Liverpool, so I wish him luck because he's done well for the club.
"I hope he finds a really strong club and performs well in the future, and that Liverpool gets the correct amount of money for him to invest back into the team because, as everyone knows, we need to reinforce our midfield.Chances are quadrupled.
"Of course, Liverpool still has a chance to win the quadruple." It's exceedingly unlikely given the Premier League is in Man City's hands.
"But you have to go for it while it's still possible." This season has been amazing, and you must take advantage of it.
"You could see in the Wembley Stadium fan zone over the weekend how excited Liverpool fans were about where the team is now, where it's been, and where it's headed. The club will need to be strengthened in the summer; we'll need at least two top-tier players who are on par with, if not better than, what Liverpool currently has."
Liverpool vindicated James Milner's Man City decision.
When James Milner left Manchester City for Liverpool, nobody could have predicted what would happen to him.
The dynamic midfielder made the decision to come to Merseyside in the summer of 2015. Many neutrals may have seen his switch as a step down after a successful tenure at the Etihad, which included two Premier League titles, an FA Cup, and a League Cup.
In terms, perhaps not.Milner, like so many others in his 20-year Premier League career, refused to take the easy way out. He might have stayed at City in relative luxury, playing a minor role in what is the closest thing to assured success in sport, before calling it a day on his glittering career as a footballer.
That, however, is not the Milner way. Milner is now the vice-captain of a Liverpool side that has won more than City did throughout his stay at the Etihad, nearly seven years after making the choice to transfer to Anfield.
So, could he have imagined how things have ended out?
