Real Madrid receives a significant fitness boost ahead of the Champions League final against Liverpool

With the Champions League final fast approaching, Real Madrid has received an injury boost.

Los Blancos have the advantage of having already clinched the La Liga title three games ago.

Carlo Ancelotti's men won the league title with ease and are now aiming for a 14th Champions League title.

Los Blancos still have Real Betis to play in La Liga, but that will be just a warm-up for the big final in Paris a week later.

However, Real Madrid has welcomed back a key member of their squad ahead of both games.

David Alaba, who has been crucial this season, has missed the last four games  with an adductor issue, He was also named to the bench for the Champions League semi-finals against Manchester City.

But, as Sport reports, Alaba is back in training and hoping to play against Betis.

In any case, he should be able to start the Champions League final against Liverpool.

Alaba is healthy and ready to compete in the Champions League final.

Madrid Real

He finished his first full training session on Tuesday.

David Alaba completed his first full training session with his Real Madrid teammates since suffering an abductor injury in his right leg in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Manchester City.

It's good news for coach Carlo Ancelotti because the centre-back will be available to play against Real Betis on Friday, Los Blancos' final game before the Champions League final against Liverpool on May 28.

Real Madrid's injury list is gradually being whittled down, and Ancelotti is expected to be able to count on the entire squad for the final, as Los Merengues seek their 14th Champions League trophy.

Karim Benzema, another key player in the Italian's plans, took a day off after resting against Cadiz last Sunday, and he will return to training on Wednesday.

Hazard's blow

Eden Hazard is doubtful for the Betis game after injuring his foot in a tackle on Carlos Akapo, who was sidelined for two months with a metatarsal fracture.

According to EFE, he is questionable for Sunday's game against Betis, but he will be fine for the Champions League final.

Bale by himself

The same is true for Gareth Bale, who trained alone at Real Madrid's training complex on Tuesday, gradually overcoming the back problems that have kept him out of what could be his final game at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

Marcelo, who trained with the team for the first half of the session, will be present for the game and will be able to say his final farewell on the pitch, which has been his home since January 2007.

During that time, the Brazilian surpassed Paco Gento as the player with the most trophies in club history, with 24. With the Champions League, he could add to his total.
