CBG Urges Chief Imam to Strengthen Ties With Muslim Community.

Daniel Wilson Addo, Managing Director of Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG), paid a courtesy call on the National Chief Imam, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, at his residence in New Fadama.

The purpose of the visit is to congratulate the Chief Imam on his charitable work and promotion of peace among religious groups, to celebrate Eid Ul Fitr in peace, to seek prayers for CBG as a positive business brand, and to cement the long-standing relationship with the Muslim community.

Mr. Daniel Wilson Addo, Managing Director of CBG, shared the purpose of the visit, saying, "His eminence is the spiritual head of a large part of this country's population, and he has consistently promoted the fact that we are one people even if we belong to different religions."

We are also well aware of his eminence's efforts to feed the poor and assist the underprivileged in society; we strongly identify with those principles. So we've come to pay our respects and pledge our support for all of his humanitarian efforts. We also do business in some of the communities where his people are concentrated, and we have consistently found that the environment is very conducive, so we would like to thank him and introduce him to the Bank."

"CBG values the relationship and impact of the Chief Imam and the entire Muslim community to the development of the Bank," says Daniel Addo. In keeping with our brand promise, we pledge to always be by your side."

The National Chief Imam, for his part, expressed gratitude to CBG and wished the Bank and its employees success.

"I am very excited and happy about your visit," he said. I am praying to Allah to shower his blessings on the bank and on each of you individually as bank employees, and collectively, I pray that God will bless your lives and all your endeavors. I am also praying that God strengthens our country's peace, just as we live in a country of different religions and yet we live in peace; we pray that God strengthens our peace."

Other members of the CBG delegation include Nana Ama Poku, Deputy Managing Director (DMD) for Corporate Resources; Charles Appiah, Chief Financial Officer; Samuel Chiatey Barketey, Director of Operations; Ahmed Ibrahim Tijani-Tanko, General Manager; and other Department Heads.

The delegation also gave the Chief Imam some gifts.
