A suspect is in authority after two individuals were killed and seven others injured in a mass shooting in midtown Chicago late Thursday night.
Police said it happened soon after 10:40 p.m. outside a McDonald's a couple of squares from the city's Eminent Mile shopping region. One of the diner's windows was broken during the shooting.
Police affirmed to CBS Chicago that a suspect was in care and a handgun was recuperated at the scene.
