Burnley coach Mike Jackson said it would require a long investment to move past the club's assignment from the Premier League after their six-year spell in the first class finished following a 2-1 home loss by Newcastle United.
Jackson, the Under-23 coach, was given the undertaking of keeping Burnley up subsequent to taking over from the terminating of long-serving administrator Sean Dyche last month with the group in eighteenth spot with eight games remaining.

"It's crude, we have a gathering of players who are destroyed. I don't think there is some other word to say regarding that," Jackson said. "I've not contemplated my future. I'm excessively destroyed about what's simply occurred and that will consume a large chunk of the day to move past.
"There is a ton of feeling in it. I'm destroyed for everybody included except glad as I could never have asked anything else from them... The work they've placed in since we came in has been splendid."
A goal from Callum Wilson in every half - the initial a penalty following handball by protector Nathan Collins - combined with Leeds United's 2-1 triumph at Brentford - fixed Burnley's destiny notwithstanding Maxwell Cornet's goal igniting a late fightback.
"There wasn't a lot of in the game yet we parted with the penalty and they could sit in a touch more. You wind up pursuing it and don't get the beat," Jackson said.
"Today we've emerged on some unacceptable side of pursuing the game. We had a few great possibilities yet couldn't take them.
"(The fans) stayed with us even toward the end... I want to believe that they saw a gathering that was battling for them. We're destroyed we were unable to give them what they needed."
