NO POLICE CHARGES FOR PATRICK VIEIRA AFTER QUARREL WITH FAN

Crystal Palace director Patrick Vieira won't come up against police indictments following a fight with a fan at Goodison Park after Merseyside Police said on Monday that no proper objection was recorded.

 

Everton fans attacked the pitch following Dominic Calvert-Lewin's 85th-minute champ and at the last whistle of their 3-2 triumph over Palace which got their Premier League endurance.

 

Vieira was faced by a fan as he was strolling towards the away changing area after the last whistle. The fan seemed to incite Vieira, who then, at that point, kicked him to the ground and must be driven away by different allies.

 

"We worked with Everton FC to assemble all suitable CCTV film and addressed observers," Merseyside Police said in an explanation.
