MAN IS SENTENCED TO JAIL FOR SMUGGLING EXPLOSIVES INTO SOUTH AFRICA FROM ZIMBABWE

It was reported by the Hawks that a man in his 40s who was convicted of importing explosives into South Africa was sentenced to fifteen years in prison.

 

 

 

At the Musina Magistrate's Court on Tuesday, a judge found Motsi Wilfred Nhamo guilty of the offenses he committed and sentenced him. Nhamo was arrested in Beitbridge on May 30 of last year, according to Captain Matimba Maluleke, a spokesman for the Hawks. The Hawks gave this piece of information. Nhamo was detained, according to Maluleke, because of information indicating that he was bringing explosives into the country from Zimbabwe.
