Mohamed Salah has confirmed that he will not leave Liverpool this summer, giving the Reds a big boost ahead of Saturday's Champions League final against Real Madrid.

The 29-year-old, who shared the Premier League Golden Boot with Tottenham Hotspur's Son Heung-Min this season, is out of contract at Anfield at the end of next season and has yet to sign a new contract with Jurgen Klopp's side.

Salah had been linked with a move away from Liverpool due to uncertainty about his future, with reports suggesting he could leave to avoid becoming a free agent a year later.

Due to his failure to reach fresh terms at Liverpool, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have both been linked with the former Chelsea and AS Roma forward. Salah has now stated that he will see out the final year of his contract, despite not confirming he will sign a new term at Anfield.

Salah remarked at Liverpool's pre-Champions League media conference, "I am just focused on the team and don't want to talk about my contract." "But I'm definitely staying next season," she says.

"At the moment, I'm not thinking about the deal." I'm not trying to be self-centered. It's all about the team now, as I said two months ago. This is a critical week for us, therefore I'm solely focused on the team. I'd like to win the Champions League once more."

Salah will face Madrid for the fourth time, four years after getting hurt in the Champions League final loss to the Spanish club in Kiev.

He says that he is adamant about avenging his loss on what he claims was the worst night of his career.

Salah stated, "I'm highly motivated." "I'm fired up to win the Champions League, especially after what happened last time and what occurred on Sunday [in the Premier League]. Everyone is fired up to win the Champions League."

"The last time I came off after 30 minutes [against Madrid], it was the worst moment of my career."

Meanwhile, Sadio Mane has promised that he will reveal his future plans following Saturday's final against Real Madrid.

"I'll respond to this question [about my future] after the Champions League," he said on Sky Sports on Wednesday. "I'll decide if I'm staying or not after the Champions League."

Both Mane and Salah's current Anfield contracts expire in 2023.

Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool's manager, said speculation over his key players' futures will not detract from the team's focus ahead of the final.

"Not in the least. What exactly do you mean? Will they want to go now if we win? Alternatively, we're in talks with all of the players "Klopp stated during a press conference. "But no, now isn't the time [it hasn't influenced the players].

"Sometimes players have one notion and we have another; they don't always match right away, but we work together since we've known each other for a long time. Everything is fine.

"It's evident that none of them are waiting for us to tell them what we want to do."

Despite limping off in the final Premier League encounter against Wolves on Sunday, Klopp said there is a "strong chance" Thiago will play in the final.
