Real Madrid have more experience experience but there is no firm favourite in Paris- Modric
Real Madrid are sure going into the Champions League last against Liverpool and will depend on their major event experience yet there is no firm number one in Paris, as per midfielder Luka Modric.
Real are playing in their fifth Champions League last starting around 2014. Having won their last seven starting around 1998, the Spanish side are pursuing a record-expanding fourteenth crown in a rematch of the 2018 last in which they crushed Liverpool 3-1 in Kyiv.
"We have specific involvement with this opposition. A portion of the players have played multiple times in the last of the Champions League. Presently we are fortunate to be in the fifth one. We really want to attempt to be typical like the entire season," Modric told BT Sport.
"There is no #1 in the last. Liverpool is an extraordinary group, they are having an incredible season, they won two cups, they battled for the association until the end... There is no #1 except for we have a great deal of certainty."
Real won three back to back finals between 2016-2018 under Zinedine Zidane. Modric said coach Carlo Ancelotti, who assisted the Spanish side win their tenth Champions With leaguing title in 2014, had not changed a great deal to return them once again to the last.
"He is something similar, what we like about him is his character, his modesty, how he talks with the players, how he moves toward us," Modric said.
"At the point when you have an individual like him around you, you give more on the pitch. You give something else for him. That is the reason Carlo is a unique coach, truly outstanding in the realm of football still.
"The human side of him is awesome, it's what we like the most and is awesome for this group."
Real lost one leg in every one of their knockout ties against Paris St Germain, Chelsea and Manchester City yet did what's necessary to arrive at the last, winning by a solitary goal on total in each round.
"We are solid, the mindset perspective is great," Ancelotti said. "The character and experience this group has, you can't say it was karma.
"I'm really glad for my players... I had no issues overseeing them. They were all expert consistently, even the individuals who didn't play."
Regardless of Real's extraordinary record of winning the last seven Champions League finals they have reached, Liverpool will take certainty from one truth.
The last time the Spanish group lost the mainland's show-stopper club game was in 1981 when Liverpool beat them 1-0 in Paris.
