In a letter addressed to the Chief Executive Officer of the Forestry Commission, the Minister has requested that the Commission submit to his office, in the span of multi week, all leases conceded by the Forestry Commission over the 1,185 sections of land of land, and any correction or varieties to those leases, as well as any sublease or task allowed over any piece of the land.

 

In a different letter addressed to the Executive Secretary of the Lands Commission, the Minister has mentioned for data on all exchanges influencing the land procured in 1927, including de-gazetting, leases, subleases, tasks, and other exchange or attitude of any piece of the terrains being referred to, whether made by the Forestry Commission or some other individual.

 

In one more letter addressed to the Nii Owoo Royal Family, the Minister has requested that the Family submit to his office all subleases and tasks conceded by the Family to any individual.

 

The Minister has likewise asked the Lands and Forestry Commissions, as well as the Nii Owoo Royal Family, to give the names and addresses of all recipient proprietors of any piece of the land procured in 1927. This will empower the Minister make the fitting moves on Achimota Forest
