Liverpool is the favorite to win the UEFA Champions League in 2022, according to the bookmakers, but numerous former players have endorsed Real Madrid,
With 13 European crowns to Liverpool's six, Madrid has a pristine record versus Liverpool.
Will Real's recurring pattern be broken if they are given the chance to manage Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool, who have dominated Europe this season with a 60.1 percent ownership share?
Past legends Patrice Evra, Rio Ferdinand, and Claude Makelele all agree.
The trio gave their gauges to UEFA.com this week, and they by and large picked Real to bring back the title at the Stade de France on Saturday night.
In any case, Michael Owen, who previously played for Liverpool and Real Madrid, told the Daily Mail that he believes Liverpool will win in Paris.
Patrice Evra of Real Madrid expresses his desire to win in all disciplines.
"It's an all-around stretch," Evra, who was Manchester United's European manager in 2008, said. I'm not one to set targets for myself, but I feel confident in Madrid's ability to win. It'll be aggravating given that, while Liverpool isn't terrible in finals, Madrid isn't either.
"It tortures me to say it, yet Liverpool would justify it after their season.
"It'll be a fantastic finale." I'll advise Madrid to win on the basis of disciplines."
Real Madrid will win 2-1, according to Rio Ferdinand.
In United's 2008 meeting of European luminaries, Ferdinand played beside Evra.
"I'm betting on Real Madrid to win; I'm betting with my heart, head, and everything else," he remarked.
"I believe their name is on it; I've bet against them in every knockout round so far, and they've crushed me, so I'm going with them this time. I'm going with Real Madrid since they've beaten Chelsea, who I projected would lose, Paris Saint-Germain, who I expected would lose, and Man City, who I predicted would lose.
"I believe that [goalkeeper Thibaut] Courtois must perform well for Madrid to overcome this resistance, and that he will be the deciding factor between the two teams. Real Madrid will score late after he keeps Liverpool out."
Claude Makelele says 3-2 to Real Madrid
Makelele played for Real from 2000 to 2003 and was a Champions League victor with them in 2002.
His estimate was indisputable as he upheld Karim Benzema, Rodrygo and Luka Modric to score against Liverpool.
He added: "It will be problematic. The two bosses are amazing. I figure it will depend upon the players.
"The two gatherings have experienced players, authority players moreover, and I think the advantage is for Madrid. A club was bound to win the Champions League; we have seen that for quite a while."
Michael Owen says 3-0 or 3-1 to Liverpool
Owen said: "I think Liverpool are better than Madrid and they could blow them away. 3-1 or 3-0 is my gauge.
"Considering how they are a wonderful gathering right now and are unnecessarily perfect for Madrid, I figure they could beat them very convincingly."
Owen continued, " "Madrid has done particularly well in recent weeks to reach the final.
"With dismissing through the social occasion stage, I'm sure they realize their name is on the title, and Chelsea was clearly fantastic in the manner in which they handled it. Manchester City's performance, as well as the manner in which they defeated them, was outstanding.
"However, I believe Liverpool are extremely skilled and exceptional. They are unlikely to want to get into a squabble with them, as I believe Madrid are a decisive group in terms of expertise and close matches."
