Stephen Wilson Bojewura, National Head of Africa, Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs Organization, Ghana Chapter, has urged young people to stand up, take their future into their hands and lift themselves out of poverty.
He said they could achieve that through entrepreneurs and industries and not just rely on government services.
In an interview with Ghana News Agency following his new appointment, Mr. Bojewura wondered what had changed so that Africa, once proud of its rich and powerful power, could no longer care for the needs of its citizens now.
“What has changed today? Ghana and Africa on that issue have the best natural resources to consider. Why are we poor? Why are young people unemployed? Looks like there will be no solution for our leaders. So we as young people need to be independent, self-reliant and free ourselves from poverty through business, ”he said.
Mr. Bojewura, Chief Executive Officer of Skylink Agro Solution Ltd, which cuts cassava into a variety of industrial products (baking, wood/paper, bakery, and pet food), said the future of Ghana and the continent could be secure if leaders looked to their future. mechanisms and policy frameworks that provide youth entrepreneurship, growth, and development.
