There is no denying that Cristiano Ronaldo is a modern-day legend.

He has represented Portugal, England, Spain, and Italy in numerous leagues around the world.

He has returned to Manchester United, but the club's current form is disgraceful.

At the club level, the Portuguese has won every imaginable tournament, including domestic leagues and competitions as well as European competitions.

But, like every other athlete, Ronaldo has had some humiliating setbacks on the field that he would prefer to forget.

Here are Ronaldo's five most humiliating league defeats:

5. Atletico Madrid defeated Real Madrid 4-0. (2015)

The most recent time Atletico Madrid beat Real Madrid was in 2015, when Cristiano Ronaldo was still a member of the Los Blancos.

The Madrid derby is one of the most exciting in the world, with Real Madrid dominating the competition.

The 2014/15 season, however, was different. Atletico Madrid defeated Real Madrid 4-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu on February 7, 2015.

4. FC Barcelona 4-0 Real Madrid (2015)

Despite winning the Champions League that season, Real Madrid were defeated 4-0 by Barcelona.

The Santiago Bernabeu throng came to watch the most anticipated game of the 2015/16 season.

However, the Los Blancos were dominated throughout the game, with goals from Suarez, Neymar, and Iniesta securing La Blaugrana's triumph.

3. Manchester United 0-4 Brighton (2022)

Manchester United had a terrible season in 2021-22.

Following their 4-0 loss to Brighton, the Red Devils' season could not have gone any worse.

Against a Brighton team that is known for hitting the back of the goal frequently, their defense was in complete disarray.

Cristiano Ronaldo's amazement could be apparent on his face as he tried his hardest.

Real Madrid 0-5 FC Barcelona (2010)

On November 29, 2010, Cristiano and then-manager Jose Mourinho suffered one of their most humiliating defeats at the Camp Nou.

The goals were scored by David Villa (2), Pedro, Xavi, and Jeffren. Los Blancos had come to the Camp Nou with a 7-game winning streak under their belts and were riding high in confidence.

Manchester United defeated Liverpool by a score of 0-5 in the Premier League (2022)

Cristiano Ronaldo will be the most hurt by Man United's loss to Liverpool, their fiercest rivals.

Liverpool visited Old Trafford on October 24, 2021, and won one of their biggest games of the season.

The match's highlight was Mohammed Salah's hattrick, which came after Paul Pogba was sent off in the 60th minute, leaving Manchester United with ten men on the field.
