eFootball Maintenance for the launch of Season 2 and Update 1.1.0 starts today and will last days, rather than hours. So there’s going to be a lot of fans out there wanting to know exactly when eFootball maintenance will end. The good news is that we know what day Konami will be restarting core PES game services. This means that PES servers will be down for four days, with only limited access available to fans. This massive PES downtime has been organised for the launch of a new update and the start of Season 2. The ending time has not been confirmed yet, maintenance ending times may differ according to your region/country, and could be extended if needed. During maintenance, you will be able to play Trial Matches using a selected pool of Authentic Teams. Furthermore, we plan to add the “Beginner” difficulty and the “10 min.” match time options. According to Konami, compensation is going to be shared, with 300 eFootball Coins being sent out to all users that have created an account by 05/29/2022 21:59 (UTC). It should also be noted that Season 2 will not start straight after maintenance ends, but will instead kick off on 06/16/2022, roughly 2 weeks after the large-scale maintenance. A message from Konami adds: “We still plan to hold a plethora of events in the meantime, so don’t forget to tune into the game. The purpose of the maintenance is to bring improvements to online PvP matches, including a better decision algorithm for victory/defeat and more servers. Furthermore, we plan to prepare the servers for features that will be released in the future, such as sharing play data between the console and mobile versions.” As mentioned above, PES Version 1.1.0 will include improvements in win/loss decision-making in online matches, enhancements of server capacity and preparation for future initiatives such as data sharing between console and mobile. The free-to-play footy simulator eFootball is due to go offline for a number of days, as the developers prepare to drop the 1.1.0 update into the game. This eFootball server downtime will also lay the groundwork for the Season 2 content to arrive in the game, which is schedule to happen in the coming weeks. Konami has confirmed that eFootball will begin a period of planned server downtime from Monday 30th May 2022. While the online component of the game is offline, players will still be able to use the offline Trial matches feature. This means you can play against the AI or a friend in the same room as you.
