Cristiano Ronaldo is said to have forced a change at Manchester United's Carrington base after filing a serious complaint about the status of the facilities following a disappointing season.

According to rumors, Cristiano Ronaldo forced the hand of Manchester United management after discovering the pool at Carrington had been altered since he departed in 2009.
The 37-year-old told Carrington employees that he didn't want to use the main pool or plunge pool since the tiles were loose, damaged, and missing. According to The Mirror, Ronaldo has requested that the two pools be re-tiled and refurbished.
Ronaldo was said to be surprised that the pool had not been updated during his 12-year absence. And, with corrective work set to be completed in mid-July, club officials were quick to take the complaints seriously.
The Portuguese superstar was dissatisfied with the Carrington facilities.
Carrington originally opened its doors in 2000, and it was regarded a cutting-edge hospital at the time. Red eyes, on the other hand, now look with envy at Manchester City, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur, all of whom have developed excellent facilities in recent years.
In recent years, Carrington, like Old Trafford, has slipped behind its rivals. Ronaldo has been at the forefront of recent events, according to a source who spoke to the Mirror: "Players may have mentioned something in the past, but nothing occurred. When Cristiano speaks up, people pay attention, and things begin to shift!"

Carrington first opened its doors in 2000, although it has since been overshadowed by rival training facilities.
Carrington has been considered for improvement by United, and several designs were submitted last year.
"Longer term, we are looking at broader renovation plans for Carrington to ensure it will be a state-of-the-art, fully integrated facility for our men's, women's, and academy groups," Collette Roche, Chief Operating Officer, said last year.
"A significant, game-changing investment will be made in our training facilities to catapult Carrington back to the top."
