'Mane is unhappy at Liverpool,' say fans The decision of Senegal's forward to depart

A number of Liverpool fans have blamed the club for Sadio Mane's decision to leave the Premier League club in the summer.

The 30-year-old Senegal international is expected to inform the Reds of his wish to leave the club, according to GOAL, with Bayern Munich leading the battle to sign him.On Saturday, the Lion of Teranga led Liverpool's assault in the Champions League final at Stade de France, but they lost 1-0 to Real Madrid. After being beaten to the Premier League title by Manchester City on the last day, the Reds finished the season with two trophies — the Carling and FA Cups.

Mane has spent six seasons at Anfield since joining from Southampton, scoring 22 goals in all competitions in the most recent campaign. In 268 appearances for the Reds, he has scored 120 goals. His upcoming departure has sparked discussion on social media, with a number of supporters flocking to the GOAL Africa Facebook page to express their opinions.

"He was addicted to the team, but others didn't value his deeds... he worked everything he had for the squad and he never got it back," Bro Safa stated."He has to go somewhere else, and I'll be with him wherever he goes."

Eshua Demion pointed the finger at Liverpool's management for Mane's departure: "This management claims to be wise," Demion remarked, adding, "Deciding not to improve Mane's compensation is not wise, and I blame the management," while Prehciouz Umohe said, "Liverpool should have made more effort to persuade him to stay.""Guys like Jadon [Sancho] and Jack [Grealish], who do absolutely nothing near to what Mane does on the pitch receive €350k per week, whilst Mane for all his work gets €100k and doesn't even get the media exposure he deserves," Ipupa La Merveille alleged.

"I applaud your choice to leave because he has an entire town in Senegal looking up to him, and staying loyal to a club that doesn't respect his work is risky."Mane will regret leaving Liverpool, according to Tri Pper: "He'll regret leaving Liverpool that's for sure." However, Prehciouz Umohe reacted angrily to his remark, asking, "Why will he regret?" "What more can he wish for in England?" Davido Silwani agreed with Umohe, saying, "What more can he wish for in England?"

"Mane needs to join a squad that values him. Do you think he'd be earning that much at Liverpool if he were a British player?"Meanwhile, another group of fans wished Mane well at his new club, saying, "He [Mane] bows out as a champion even in Champions League final defeat," as Josephat Hill Maina put it. "This man is a fighter, but above all, he is a modest human being."

"May the light shine brightly on your road at all times." Sadio Mane, I'll still be your biggest supporter wherever you go next season."

"I just feel his anguish," Khalif Sani commented, "he's a decent man," Fred Nyamosi said, "he still remains in our hearts," and Nana Yaw Bright wrote, "Leave..., they don't deserve you..."Tsepo Lesibe said, "Wish him all the best wherever he goes," while Syabonga Putin Zikalala concluded the argument, "Leave my brother, you performed your part."
