In the Europe Ijtima, when the food was placed at your Dastarkhan, you said ‘Take me to where everyone else is eating, I too will eat the normal food arranged for all’.
The 400 years of sacrifice your family have given for the effort of Deen. By Allah, in today’s modern world, you are without a doubt a true follower of Allah and his Rasul Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. A glimpse of hope. Oh how I wish the whole world understood Urdu to listen to what you are saying. You have given Ilm a new dimension. The Ummah needs to go back to the level of the Sahabah once again as it was the saying of your great grandfather ML Ilyas Rahimahullah. You are a living embodiment of that day and night Mujaahidah.
It was my honour to meet you at the Trinidad Ijtima 2019 and there I observed your humility despite all the arrangements made prior to your coming. I brought a Hindu non muslim to meet you. Very beautifully with a smile on your face, you gave Dawah to him. It was only a few sentences yet so powerful that he was left at awe and thereafter listened to your 2 hour long bayaan. This non muslim Hindu ended up praying Salah in Jamah and couldn’t stop talking about the beauty and simplicity of Islam.
Allah has blessed you and raised your status amongst the millions and billions of people around the world. You have always mentioned that tests and conditions come upon the best of people, Ambiya AS were tested, Sahabah RA were tested, the Awliya were tested and you stood firm upon those words and relied on Allah for ways out. Knowing that you are being tested, brings a shame to us. What have we really done for the Deen of Allah? What excuses do we have to present to Allah?
You have given hope to us hopeless people and I make Dua that Allah raises your status and gives you the blessed company of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. I make dua that Allah gives us all the tawfeeq to follow the footsteps of Rasulallah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam and the Sahabah RA. May Allah reward you tremendously for all the efforts, the fikr, the worry and concern you have for the Ummah. Ameen Ya Rabb.
You are a living legacy and it is all due to Allah’s fadhl and karam.
